Forging Furnace

So you’ve got some blacksmithing tricks up your sleeve – now take your tinkering to your backyard and build your own gas furnace. A gas furnace will allow the budding smith to hone their skills and is an essential part of a home forge. These furnaces can be used for blacksmithing, heat-treating, non-ferrous casting work and for making Damascus steel.

In our intensive one-day course, Matt Mewburn will show eager smiths how to build and test a gas forging furnace. By the day’s end, students will take home their own insulated gas furnace body.

NOTE: The burner kit accessory must be purchased separately from Gameco. Further information will be provided at time of booking.
